The latest Ultra High Performance tyres by both brands presented at one stand.
Apollo Vredestein will be presenting an extensive selection of its tyre range at REIFEN, a major exhibition in Essen, Germany, from 5 to 8 June 2012. This leading event takes place once every two years, and the previous edition attracted 18,000 visitors. In addition to its two recently introduced summer tyres, Vredestein will highlight its products for agricultural applications and two-wheelers. Visitors to the stand will also have the chance to see Apollo products such as the Aspire 4G, the company’s latest Ultra High Performance tyre.
Vredestein
During an impressive launch event in Budapest earlier this year, the Vredestein brand introduced two new summer tyres for the high-end passenger car segment. The Ultrac Vorti and Sportrac 5, which will also be showcased at REIFEN, represent the latest expansion of the Premium Styling by Vredestein concept.
The Vredestein Ultrac Vorti is the ultimate high-performance tyre with the speed code Y, which means that it is suitable for speeds in excess of 300 kilometres per hour. It is designed for the most sporty, advanced and high-powered cars. Its tread and construction has been especially designed for sizes that are only fitted on the rear axle.
The Vredestein Sportrac 5 is a very quiet and comfortable summer tyre which excels in stability and sportiness, and ensures excellent handling on both wet and dry road surfaces. Both tyres were designed by the Italian master Giugiaro.
In addition to these two new models, Vredestein will be showcasing an extensive selection of its other tyres at REIFEN for passenger cars, agricultural applications and two-wheelers.
Apollo
With the Aspire 4G, the Apollo brand will also be presenting its newest Ultra High Performance tyre at REIFEN. This product is designed for cars like the Volkswagen Passat, Audi A6 and the BMW 5 Series, and will be showcased at the exhibition on a Mercedes E-Class model. This latest addition to the tyre range was developed jointly by Apollo’s R&D departments in India and the Netherlands. The result is a new UHP summer tyre designed with safety in mind and which ensures excellent handling on both wet and dry surfaces, regardless of speed.
In addition to the Aspire 4G, Apollo will also display the Amazer 3G Maxx at REIFEN. This summer tyre with an asymmetric tread received the highest score for performance on wet roads in the ADAC summer tyre test, the main European tyre test.
