Cars deliver peak performance with Vredestein Sportrac 5 and Vredestein Ultrac Vorti
Vredestein summer tyres have achieved exemplary results in recent independent tyre tests. This is a fitting reward for intensive research, millions of miles of testing and a quality manufacturing process. The Vredestein Sportrac 5 and Vredestein Ultrac Vorti were rated highly in various independent European tyre tests, pinpointing the excellent results on dry handling, low sound levels and lower fuel consumption.
The achievements are a testimony to the success of Vredestein’s philosophy, which aims to provide maximum performance for every car that fits its tyres.
“Exemplary”, “highly recommended”, “great performance on wet and dry roads”, “low rolling resistance”, “number one in handling on dry and wet roads, fastest wet time” are just some of the quotes from the test reports. The renowned German car magazine Auto Bild, the German and Austrian automobile clubs ADAC and ÖAMTC, and the consumer organisation Stiftung Warentest subjected the all-round model Vredestein Sportrac 5 and the Ultra High Performance tyre Vredestein Ultrac Vorti to their multipurpose testing programmes.
The test results pointed to excellent performance on both wet and dry surfaces. According to Dr Seshu Bhagavathula, Chief Technology Officer, Apollo Tyres Ltd, “The test results of Vredestein Sportrac 5 and other product lines are a testimony to the cutting-edge technology and process innovation at Apollo’s R&D centre in the Netherlands. It has helped us to continuously meet the exacting demands of our customers.”
Top performance and design
Vredestein brings together design and technology in a distinctive and unique way. The Netherlands-based Apollo Tyres’ Global R&D Centre for passenger vehicle tyres works closely with the Giugiaro design studio in Italy – “form follows function” is Vredestein’s motto.
The Giugiaro lines are found on almost all Vredestein tyres, including the Vredestein Sportrac 5 and the Vredestein Ultrac Vorti, which represent crucial pillars in the Vredestein range. Vredestein’s advanced technology is reflected in factors such as safety, durability, low fuel consumption and driving comfort. This automatically leads to an optimal performance as Vredestein brings out the best in every car.
Green labels, wide size range
The Vredestein Sportrac 5 is available in sizes from 14 to 18 inches and the Vredestein Ultrac Vorti from 17 to 22 inch. In other words, these two tyres cover most of the market by themselves. The green labels for braking and handling on wet roads and low sound levels underline the high quality. This summer will see the size range extended further, making these top tyres available for almost every car on the market.
